Psicoterapia Cognitiva e Comportamentale (Italian Journal
of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy) publishes original articles which contribute
towards theoretical knowledge and the progress of clinical practice in cognitive
and behavioral psychotherapy. Some of its spheres of interest regard
applications of cognitive and behavioral methods to individuals, the family,
groups and organizations. Also of interest are clinical assessment, behavioral
medicine, rehabilitation, methodology, analogical and basic research, and
interdisciplinary fields of study which are of importance for psychotherapy.
The aim of the journal is to supply information on the
multiple aspects and diverse ramifications of Italian cognitive and behavioral
psychotherapy. It occasionally welcomes other contributions in English, and also
aims at focusing attention on the sometimes remote roots of the cognitive and
behavioral approach. A special section is devoted to photographic reproduction
of historically important papers.
Psicoterapia Cognitiva e Comportamentale is subdivided
into the following sections: Research, Theory, Clinical Cases, Short
Communications, Research Protocols, Historical Archive, Criticism and Reports on
New Publications, Forthcoming Events, and Letters to the Editor.
